I've been overwhelmed by a lot of 'stuff' for the past few weeks - school, mostly - and sadly, haven't had the time to go out taking photographs as I'd like, or to keep up with the activity on DA. I'm trying to work out a way so there's a proper balance between 'stuff' and photography - and that'd be with photography having the upper hand, of course. Let's see if I can!
I did have a chance to join a Flickr-based group (Do I hear cries of "Sacrilege! Stone him!!"?) on a photoshoot last Saturday. We did a themed model shoot ('Homeless') which was fun, but not quite my style, I guess. Deviating from the theme, I asked Julia, one of the girls to model for me among the trees in the light of the evening sun, and took some impromptu portraits of her.
[link][link]I'm quite happy with the way they've turned out. What do you guys think? I'd love to hear your comments and critiques!

P.S. I'm sorry for the delay in responding to all your kind comments on my work.
